Brief Profile of Ms. Revathy Ramanan

Ms. Revathy is presently working as a guidance Manager at XBRL International and is responsible for managing the guidance development across the Best Practices Board Task Forces. She Co-authored implementation guidance and explanatory notes for XBRL technical specifications. Contribute towards XBRL specifications development efforts and support XII in its operations and initiatives. Co-manage the XBRL Asia Round Table event. Prior to working with XBRL Inc, Revathy was working with IRIS Business Services in the XBRL consulting Division.

She has consulted and contributed in multiple capacities for implementing XBRL reporting programs (financial, prudential, risk and operational). Responsibilities handled included analysis & harmonization of reporting requirements, designing and development of XBRL taxonomies, implementation of business rules, and supporting program-rollout. Trained corporate, auditors, and software developers on XBRL.

Worked in the capacity of a Product Manager and Business Analyst for multiple products. These products cater to different requirements of business reporting supply chains such as XBRL validation engine, report creation, taxonomy management and analytics. Responsibilities included product conceptualization, building roadmaps, requirement gathering, managing backlogs, coordinating releases, testing, providing guidance on XBRL technical specification and creating marketing collaterals.
